i am thinking of putting this in as it matches the bunting and the lining but is this against the rules !!

this pin cushion for me was a block but it all went pear shaped and i didnt make it so have used it for this plus a small pouch >

the top one is the scott memorial on princes st do you see that woman bottom left think that is the only coat she has !!  the next is the entrance of the castle .

super dooper christmas fabric !!!!!

this is to say a very big thank you to cindy http://www.myroadtoinspiration.blogspot.com/ my very good friend in Iowa i loved a pillow she made for christmas and i tried to get some of the same fabric no luck and guess what a parcel arrived here  and in it that fabric  wow what a girl she is so now i can make the christmas diva pillow :)))

i have made this bag using Ayumis pattern http://ayumills.blogspot.com/2010/08/tutorial-lunch-bag.html also a small cushion paper pieced using some of cindys fabric that she sent along too,

here they are together well now talk about international ................................usa,britain............russia that is where these are going to be headed my sons girlfriends niece she is 4 yrs old (are you still with me ) liked the cushions that i sent them at christmas so i was asked to make her a small one ..............done so i have made her the bag and i am putting a few goodies in it .
i know i am not a pink girl really this 1000 peeps came in a bargain bundle from http://www.etsy.com/shop/pinkcastlefabrics brenda puts together some good bundles and i dont think her postage is too bad either .

no it is not we went to edinburgh yesterday i didnt take my camera as the weather was crap but by the time we got there the sun was out and it was so gorgeous so i took some pics on my phone if i could get them off the phone you would be amazed how sunny it was but i will keep trying .

some more hearts

i made this for my mum sort of a large mug rug !!

then i was just trying out cathederal windows and they were suprisingly not difficult after you got past the bit of folding i dont know if i am going to make loads of them but they are portable and could be done on holiday !!

looking at the scraps for the swap as my partner has failed to comment again i will just make up a bundle for her and hope for the best ...............i have kept an eye on her blog and photo stream looks like she is not in it with us !!  :((  shame really as it is supposed to be MOUTHY.

paper piecing and a valentine

i have been doing a little bit of paper piecing over this past few days i was going to use one or two on my mouthy stitches pouch ...............but i am staying with my bunting one as i have had such a poor response (non) from my partner i have only seen one post from her over the whole swap:((( maybe she did them and i just never saw them  !!

now to the valentine  you might know Lynda  my friend is from the U.SA and has married a scotsman friend of ours well she was saying the other day about how it is celebrated in the states and i know as i have been married to an american and lived there so i have made her a little quilt either to hang or put on her coffee table ,i have used a few red white and blue charms that i had .actually she brought them back for me i had quite a bit of stuff ordered and sent to her daughters house for when she was over sorting out her visa !!

i have finished yet another zippy something so small is giving me grief ,make one then make another and another think i will be ready to do another tomorrow ,i love this last one with the bunting on and i have put a initial on the back too if i dont send it i will have to find someone with that initial !!! :)))))

i bought a charm pack of echo it has 20 charms in it so i thought i would get on with some practice for http://www.flickr.com/groups/mouthystitches/pool/   turned out really cute but not big enough for my phone
but i will use it even for change !!

now just to let you know i have lost 4 1/4 lb this week i have updated my ticker ,i think i might have gone over board with how much i want to lose think i would be a size 8 at the end of it i am size16 now all these sizes are british sizes !! anyhow i am quite pleased with my progress so far see what next wednesday brings !!
