quilt as you go

I have been doing a little sewing i thought i would have a go at quilt as you go so out came the scrap bag i sewed a couple of bits of batting together as i am very low on it off i went seemed to take forever to do but quite a pleasing result .

just from another angle at this point i still had a good way to go but it kept me busy .

Pip keeping warm she had been snuggled in the blanket i got the camera out and she had to lift up her head to pose !!!

Daffs from Morrisons 50p a pot has brightened up my kitchen  took these last weekend when we had the snow

I have now finished my quilt as you go so i will let you see it and my inspiration !!! next time ....later today !!!

  1. I've been meaning to do a scrappy quilt as you go project for a while. You may have just inspired me to try and find the time this week.

  2. I haven't tried quilting as you go but would really like to as quilting isn't my favourite part of the process and I hate tugging the quilt through the throat. I shall try it one day :-) By the way, I love daffs. They are my favourite spring flower.
